Edale Village Hall

Edale Village Hall and Playing Fields are conveniently located at the centre of this picturesque Peak District village.
Edale is situated at the start of the Pennine Way, in the heart of the Peak District about half way between Sheffield and Manchester. The surrounding countryside offers a stunning location for a wide range of outdoor activities including walking, mountain biking, climbing and caving.
The hall makes an ideal base for organised groups and events and is regularly used as a control centre for fell races and sponsored walks. It is very suitable for visiting school groups to use for indoor activities (coach parking is available in the pay & display car park) and makes a good location for running courses.
There is free parking for up to 11 cars, substantial additional parking is available to hire, and adjacent is a pay & display car park. The hall is within easy walking distance of Edale train station and nearby is accommodation to suit all needs; camp sites, B&Bs, pubs and holiday cottages. Hirers of the hall have been catered for by The Penny Pot Cafe and Newfold Farm Cafe
The hall was refurbished in 2014 and has good facilities including a kitchen, toilets, tables & chairs, wheelchair access, and WIFI available to all users of the hall. The capacity is for up to 150 people (100 seated). Full details of facilities are available here.
